Hawaii's Economist PAUL BREWBAKER joins A-1 Nick on the A-1 Podcast
So I just couldn't resist the Gamestop short squeeze story. For me, it had everything: a revolt against the 1%, trending social media buzz, Wall Street Bets (Reddit Group), the Robinhood app (stock trading app), and I finally got to quote my idol, Charlie Munger, by saying "3 things lead to smart people going broke: Liquor, Ladies, and LEVERAGE.
So I literally cold-called Mr. Paul Brewbaker off a number I found on the internet to ask him to do my podcast. And to my utter surprise, he picked up, we spoke for 40 minutes, and he agreed!
Anybody who's anybody in Hawaii's local business scene knows Mr. Brewbaker is one of the sharpest minds in town. He's a vivid storyteller, that uses local humor to communicate his sophisticated economic thoughts. I have been a fan of his for over a decade and was truly honored to have him participate in the podcast.
